Ricardo Ramirez Hernández was, until recently, a member of the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization, on which he served from 2009 to 2017. He is a Professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and was appointed to the Panel of Arbitrators of ICSID. Ricardo worked at the Mexican Ministry of Economy representing his country in negotiations and dispute settlement, at the law firm of Chadbourne & Parke as head of the international trade practice of Latin America and is the founding partner of RRH Consultores S.C. Ricardo is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, México and holds a Master of Laws in International Legal Studies from American University.
